What's involved in the screening process?
Every caregiver we represent will complete
-
Identity verification
-
Background and driving record checks

We also conduct in-depth interviews to assess experience and overall fit before introducing any candidate to a family.
Will contract/compensation assistance be provided?
Yes, we believe clear expectations and fair standards are essential to long-term success. Industry standard contracts include guaranteed hours, paid time off, and overtime. Contracts are an excellent way to outline what is expected of both care provider and family,

What is the search fee, and is it applied toward placement?
The search fee is a one-time payment that begins the placement process and reflects the time and care involved in sourcing and screening candidates. This fee is applied toward the final placement fee once a match is made.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, all of our placements include a 90-day guarantee. Our priority is ensuring long-term success, and we remain actively involved if adjustments or support are needed.

What if our needs change down the line?
We understand that families’ needs can evolve. As long as a working relationship ends amicably, we maintain an open-door policy and are happy to assist with future placements or transitions when the time comes.
How do I get started?
The first step is scheduling a consultation. This no-pressure conversation allows us to learn more about your household, answer questions, and determine whether we’re the right fit before moving forward.

How is Kindred Home different from other agencies?
Kindred Home operates with intention and a relationship-first approach. We limit the number of families we work with at any given time, to ensure our placements receive the personalized attention every family deserves.

About Us
The best home placements happen when both sides feel seen. Kindred Home was founded on a simple observation: most placements that struggle don't fail because of skill or effort. They fail because values were mismatched, expectations were unclear, and decisions were made in haste. We've witnessed this pattern firsthand. Families overwhelmed by endless applications, caregivers accepting positions that looked perfect on paper, both sides hoping it would work out. Sometimes it did. Often it didn't. We built Kindred Home to do things differently. We understand what makes placements succeed, and what makes them fall apart.
We know the questions that truly matter, the conversations that need to happen before day one, and how to spot misalignment before it becomes a problem. We use that knowledge to create thoughtful matches built on shared values, clear communication, and fair treatment on both sides. Families find caregivers they truly trust, and caregivers find families that truly value them.
Meet The Founder

Working with children has always been my passion. After studying early childhood education and teaching preschool, I eventually transitioned into private nannying.
Being a nanny was profound in a way I hadn't anticipated. I wasn't just caring for children, I was becoming part of a family in the such an intimate way. I was trusted in their homes, with their routines, with the delicate work of helping raise their children. That trust, that closeness, it's what made the work so meaningful.

After several years, I realized I didn't want to leave this world. I just wanted to be part of it differently, helping more families find the right caregiver for such an important role.
That's why I started Kindred Home. Now I get to stay connected to what I love most: being part of families' lives during one of their most vulnerable and important phases.
